ASI 169 Security Grab Bar - 48L - Front Mount

ASI Grab Bars are engineered to surpass ADAAG standards set in ICC/ANSI A117.1 - 2003 and CFR 28 Part 36, Federal Register Vol. 56 No 144, July 26, 1991. This fabricated product is strong enough to support a 250 - pound (113.4 kg) load. Wall - mounting is crucial to meet this requirement. To handle shear, tension, pull - out, and torsion loads from maximum loading, the fastener system is properly sized. When installed correctly, it can hold over 1350 lbs (612.4 kg). The tubing is 18 - gauge, and the flanges and closure plate are 1/8″ (3 mm) thick, made of satin - finished stainless steel type 304. It features an all - welded construction and has three holes on each flange for front mounting.

Using this grab bar is easy. Just install it on the wall through the three holes on each flange for front mounting. Make sure to use the right fasteners to handle the loads.
