It uses a Multi-Feed Tank Assembly system with a 166.5 oz soap tank that can support up to 6 dispensers through a fill port hub on the deck top. It works with any non-proprietary bulk foam soap. Using this soap dispenser is easy. First, make sure you've purchased the “6-SOAP-MFT” Soap Multi-Feed Tank separately if you're using the Multi-Feed system. Fill the soap tank through the top fill port. When you place your hands under the spout, the touch-free dual sensors will detect them and dispense foam soap. For power, you can choose between a 4xAA alkaline battery pack or an A/C adapter. The indicator light at the base of the spout will tell you if it's powered on, when it's activated, and when the soap is running low. As for maintenance, regularly check the soap level and refill it as needed. Clean the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth. Since it has a vandal-resistant construction, it should last a long time, but avoid using abrasive materials on it.
