Product Description

The ASI 3902 sheet metal screws are ideal for mounting ASI brand grab bars with concealed mountings, like those in the 3100 and 3200 series. These grab bars come with slotted tenon plates for easy installation, and the slots are precisely designed to fit the 3902 screws. These self - tapping Phillips pan - head screws, measuring 2 - 1/2 inches long, are a great choice for drywall partitions. Each kit includes two screws and all the necessary hardware for one flange of an ASI grab bar. You'll need to order one kit for each flange of your specific ASI model. When you install ASI grab bars correctly using these screws, they'll fully meet the minimum weight capacity requirements set by the ADA and other barrier - free accessibility standards.

How to use: First, identify the flanges on your ASI grab bar. For each flange, take a kit of the ASI 3902 screws. Align the slotted tenon plate of the grab bar with the surface where you want to mount it, like a drywall partition. Then, use a Phillips - head screwdriver to drive the self - tapping screws into place. Make sure the screws are tightened properly to ensure a secure installation. Note: Remember to order one kit for each flange of your ASI grab bar model. Also, always follow the ADA and other accessibility guidelines during installation. Maintenance: Periodically check the screws to make sure they're still tight. If you notice any looseness, simply use a screwdriver to tighten them up again. Keep the screws clean to prevent rust and ensure long - lasting performance.
