The wall anchor is ideal for surface - mounting grab bars with exposed - type mounting flanges, such as ASI series 3300, 3400, and 3500 grab bars, on finished solid concrete walls. It consists of No 12 - 24 x 1 - 1/2″ long machine screws paired with matching lead expansion shields. Each anchor kit includes three machine screws along with their corresponding lead expansion shields. You need to specify one kit for each flange.
Using this product is easy. First, find a suitable spot on your finished solid concrete wall where you want to mount the grab bars. Then, drill holes according to the size of the expansion shields. Place the expansion shields into the holes. Next, take the machine screws from the kit and screw them into the expansion shields. Make sure to use the right tools to ensure a tight fit. When using, always check if the grab bars are securely attached. If you notice any looseness, tighten the screws immediately. For maintenance, periodically check the screws and expansion shields for signs of wear or corrosion. If there are any issues, replace the parts as needed. Keep the product in a dry place to prevent rusting.
