The ASI 3401-18 is a straight grab bar with a 1-1/4-inch diameter and an 18-inch length. It has a smooth, satin finish that not only looks great but also reduces fingerprints. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, it offers an appealing gleam. At each end, there's a 3-inch diameter flange made of type-304 stainless steel, securely welded to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch diameter countersunk, predrilled holes, spaced about 120 degrees apart, for No. 10 self-tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (not included). Once installed, the mounting hardware is fully exposed. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements.

Using this grab bar is easy. First, choose a suitable location on a wall where you need support. Make sure the wall can handle the weight. Use the predrilled holes in the flanges to attach the grab bar with No. 10 self - tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (you'll need to buy these separately). When installing, ensure the bar is level for the best support. For safety, always hold the bar firmly when using it. Don't use excessive force that could damage the bar or the mounting. To keep it looking great, clean it regularly with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the satin finish. If you notice any loose parts or damage, check the mounting and fix or replace parts as needed.
