This grab bar with a support leg is crafted from 304 stainless steel alloy (18-8). It features a 1-1/2” diameter (Ø38) tubing hinge with three preset detent stop positions. Polymer anti-friction bearing plates are used to ensure silent and seamless operation. A polymer bumper at the bottom end of the bar prevents noise when it's lowered into the using position. It has an exposed flange with a 1-1/4″ O.D and is a smooth swing-up grab bar with a leg.
Using this grab bar is easy. Simply swing it up or down as needed, and it will stop at one of the three preset positions. When lowering it, the polymer bumper will prevent any loud banging. For safety, make sure the bar is firmly surface - mounted before use. To keep it in good condition, clean it regularly with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may damage the smooth surface of the bar.
