The grab bar features a cover that snaps over the mounting flange dimples to conceal the screws. The concealed mounting flange has a 31/8-inch (79 mm) outer diameter, with 2 screw holes and 3 locking dimples. It's made of 1/8-inch (3 mm) thick type 304 stainless steel. The cover is also type 304 stainless steel, with a satin finish, 22 gauge, and a 33/16-inch (81 mm) diameter. This 1-1/2-inch (38 mm) diameter series grab bar comes with a white powder coated finish and is 18 inches long.
Using your new grab bar is easy. Just find a suitable location on the wall where you need support, like in the bathroom. Make sure the surface is clean and flat. Line up the mounting holes on the grab bar with the pre - drilled holes on the wall and use the provided screws to secure it. The snap - on flange covers can then be attached to hide the screws and give it a neat look. When it comes to maintenance, simply wipe the grab bar with a mild soap and water solution using a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may scratch the satin finish. Check the screws periodically to ensure they are tight and the grab bar is securely fastened. If you notice any signs of rust or damage, contact the manufacturer for advice.
