MATERIALS:
The tubing is made of type 304 stainless steel, and the exposed surfaces are powder-coated in matte black. The concealed flange is 1/2-inch (13mm) deep, type 304 stainless steel, 3 inches (76mm) in diameter, and comes with 3 stainless steel set screws and one back plate. The flanges and center posts are welded to the tubing.
MOUNTING:
The clearance between the finished wall surface and the inner edge of the tubing is 1-1/2 inches (38mm) as standard. The required mounting height is 33 to 36 inches (838 to 914mm) from the top of the grab bar gripping surface to the finish floor. A 36-inch (914mm) horizontal grab bar should be installed on the back wall, and a 42-inch (1067mm) horizontal grab bar on the side wall or partition stall. Screws are not included.
SPECIFICATIONS:
These grab bars are designed and tested to withstand a downward pull when properly installed, meeting or exceeding HUD, HEW, FHA, VA, and other Federal, State, and local codes, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Dimensions are measured from the center-line to the center-line of the tubing, unless noted otherwise on the grab bar application.

Using your Bobrick grab bar is easy. Just hold onto it firmly for support when getting in or out of the bathtub, using the toilet, or moving around in the bathroom. When it comes to installation, make sure to follow the mounting instructions carefully. The required mounting height is between 33 and 36 inches from the top of the gripping surface to the floor. Also, keep in mind that the screws are not included, so you'll need to get the appropriate ones. For maintenance, simply wipe the grab bar with a soft, damp cloth regularly to keep it clean. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the matte black finish. If you notice any loose parts or signs of damage, check the mounting and tighten the screws if necessary. These grab bars are built to last and meet strict safety standards, so you can rely on them for years of use.
