The Bobrick Designer Series presents an automatic, 'top fill', 'touch-free' soap dispenser. Its die-cast zinc body is not only durable but also adds a touch of elegance. This dispenser stands out by using universal bulk liquid soaps, which can save you a significant amount on usage costs. It features a unique portion control system that balances customer satisfaction and your operating budget. Available in five stylish finishes - Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel, Brushed Nickel, Polished Brass, and Matte Black. There's also an automatic faucet with a matching finish for a coordinated look. It comes with adjustable time-out durations, line purging, adaptable sensor range, and LEED flow-rate options. For new installations, make sure the mounting hole is 1-3/8” (35mm) in diameter. For existing or retrofit projects, if needed, you can enlarge the opening using the right hole saw. Refer to the installation instructions with the mounting template link below. The soap bottle is made of translucent, shatter-resistant high-density polyethylene with a 34-fl oz (1.0-L) capacity. The pump and soap delivery system uses a plastic gear pump submerged in the bottle to pump liquid soap through a vinyl tube to the spout. The bottom housing, made of water-resistant ABS plastic, holds the PC board, the motor for the gear pump, and the gear pump housing. It has a portion control knob, a flush button for system cleaning and maintenance, a connector for fiber optic cables, and a power port. The electronic activation/indication system uses fiber optic cables to connect the activation lenses to an IR sensor on the PC board in the bottom housing and an LED to an acrylic lens at the spout tip. All cables are integrated into one connector tip for easy installation. It comes with a standard 6V AC adapter with a U.S. plug. To fill the dispenser, insert the provided BobKey into the concealed locking mechanism in the spout assembly to open the lid for quick top filling. Only use bulk liquid hand soap. Close and lock the lid by rotating it counter-clockwise. To activate, place your hand under the spout near the sensor for about 1/2 second. The spout dispenses an adjustable amount (0.4 to 3ml) of liquid hand soap with viscosities from 100 to 19,000 cP. The LED lights flash green in standby mode, turn off during activation, and flash red if an object stays in the activation zone after a single activation. Note that Bobrick liquid soap dispensers are designed for commercially marketed all-purpose liquid hand soaps that are not alcohol or iodine-based. The unit is designed for installation in counters up to 2' (50mm) thick with a 1-3/8' (35mm) diameter mounting hole. It can be mounted through a special hole when ordering the lavatory. The recommended mounting location is 6' to 8' (150 to 205mm) from the back wall and 3' (75mm) from the sink rim to the center of the mounting hole. There should be a minimum 18' (455mm) vertical and 5' (125mm) diameter clearance below the mounting hole for the soap bottle and bottom housing. Plug the AC adapter into the wall and the end plug into the power port on the bottom housing. For sinks with a rim over the counter, make sure the rim doesn't touch the activation area. Refer to the 858-191 Installation Instructions. The specifications state that this counter-mounted automatic liquid soap dispenser dispenses an adjustable 0.4 to 3ml of commercially available all-purpose bulk liquid hand soaps. Don't use iodine or alcohol-based soaps or sanitizers. The spout assembly is die-cast zinc with one of four finishes. The stem is Delrin plastic and can fit up to 2' (50mm) thick countertops. It has an oversized funnel-shaped opening covered by a 180° rotatable lid with a concealed locking mechanism for top filling. It has LED indicators to show it's ready for use, an IR sensor in a water-resistant housing, an activation lens to prevent false activations, a portion control knob for volume adjustment, an automatic system flush button for cleaning, and comes with a 6V AC adapter.

The unit can be installed in counters up to 2' (50mm) thick. Mount it 6' to 8' (150 to 205mm) from the back wall and 3' (75mm) from the sink rim to the center of the mounting hole. There should be enough space below the mounting hole for the soap bottle and bottom housing. Plug the AC adapter into the wall and the end plug into the power port on the bottom housing. For sinks with a rim over the counter, ensure the rim doesn't touch the activation area. As for maintenance, use the flush button on the bottom housing to clean the system. Check the LED lights. Green means it's in standby, no light during normal activation, and red if an object stays in the activation zone.
