Product Description

The ASI 1201-A stainless steel shower curtain rod is a well - crafted rounded rod. It combines durability with an appealing look. This adjustable curtain rod can be set to a length ranging from 61 to 63 inches and is meant for outside - wall mounting. Made from 18 - gauge type - 304, 18 - 8 alloy stainless steel tubing, it has a beautiful satin finish. This finish makes water splashes hardly noticeable on its surface. With a 1 - inch diameter, it goes perfectly with ASI 1200 - SHU shower hooks and the ASI 1200 - V shower curtain. The mounting flanges at both ends have countersunk holes for #10, 2 - inch sheet metal screws (which you need to buy separately). These flanges are made of rust - proof Zamac with a chrome finish. Its surface - mounted design allows for easy installation on various hard shower surfaces like plaster, tile, masonry, and drywall.

Using this shower curtain rod is easy. First, measure the space where you want to install it to make sure it fits within the 61 - 63 inches adjustable range. Then, mark the spots on the wall for the mounting flanges. Remember, you'll need to buy the #10, 2 - inch sheet metal screws separately. Once you've attached the flanges to the wall, simply place the curtain rod in position. You can hang your ASI 1200 - SHU shower hooks on it and then add your ASI 1200 - V shower curtain. When it comes to maintenance, a simple wipe with a damp cloth is usually enough to keep the satin finish looking good. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they might scratch the surface. Also, check the mounting screws from time to time to ensure they're tight. If you notice any rust on the mounting flanges, it's probably time to replace them as they're made to be rust - proof.
