24-Inch Grab Bar

ASI Grab Bars are engineered to surpass ADAAG standards as set out in ICC/ANSI A117.1 - 2003 and CFR 28 Part 36, Federal Register Vol. 56 No 144, July 26, 1991. These bars are incredibly strong, capable of supporting a 250 - pound (113.4 kg) load. Proper wall - mounting is key to meeting this requirement. The fastener system is sized to handle shear, tension, pullout, and torsion loads from maximum loading. When installed correctly, the bar can hold over 1350 lbs (612.4 kg).

The tubing is 18 - gauge, and the flanges are 1/8“ (3 mm) thick stainless steel type 304 with a sleek satin finish. The closure plate is also 1/8″ (3 mm) thick. It features an all - welded construction. Each flange has 3 threaded rods in welded studs for rear mounting, ensuring a secure fit.

Using this grab bar is easy. Just install it on the wall following the instructions provided. Make sure to use the right tools and fasteners for a proper fit. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly for support. It's important to note that the bar needs to be installed correctly to reach its maximum load - bearing capacity. For maintenance, simply wipe it with a soft, damp cloth regularly to keep its satin finish looking great. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may damage the surface.
