The ASI 3401-12 is a sleek straight grab bar. It has a 1-1/4-inch diameter and is 12 inches long with a smooth finish. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, it sports an appealing satin finish that reduces fingerprints while still giving it an alluring shine. At both ends of the grab bar, there are 3-inch diameter flanges made of type-304 stainless steel, securely welded to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch diameter countersunk, predrilled holes, designed to fit No. 10 self-tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (not included). The holes are positioned about every 120 degrees for a super-secure installation. Once mounted, the hardware stays fully visible. This grab bar meets or surpasses all ADA requirements for grab bars.

Using this grab bar is easy. First, find a suitable location on a wall where you need support. Mark the positions of the predrilled holes on the wall. Then, use No. 10 self - tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (you'll need to buy them separately) to attach the grab bar to the wall through the holes in the flanges. Make sure to tighten the screws well to ensure a secure installation. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly for support. For maintenance, simply wipe it with a soft, damp cloth to keep it clean. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may damage the satin finish. Also, check the screws periodically to make sure they are still tight. If you notice any loose parts or damage, replace the grab bar or its components as needed.
