The ASI 3501-30P is a 30-inch straight grab bar with a 1.5-inch diameter. It features a peened, non-slip surface for a secure grip. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, it has an appealing satin finish that reduces fingerprints while adding a nice shine. At each end, there's a 3-inch diameter flange made of type-304 stainless steel, herliarc welded to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch countersunk, pre-drilled holes (spaced about 120 degrees apart) to accept No. 10 self-tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included). After installation, the mounting hardware is fully visible. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements.
Using your new grab bar is easy. First, find a suitable spot on the wall where you need support. Make sure the wall is strong enough to hold the weight. Then, align the pre - drilled holes on the flanges with the marks on the wall and use No. 10 self - tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included) to secure it. Remember, once installed, the mounting hardware will be visible. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly for support, especially when getting up or sitting down. As for maintenance, simply wipe it with a soft cloth and mild cleaner to keep its satin finish looking great. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may damage the surface. And always check the screws periodically to ensure they're tight and the grab bar remains secure.
