24-Inch Grab Bar

The ASI 3401-24P is a straight grab bar with a 1-1/4-inch diameter and a length of 24 inches. It has a peened, non-slip gripping surface for better safety. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, it has an appealing satin finish that reduces fingerprints while still looking shiny. At both ends, there are 3-inch diameter flanges made of type-304 stainless steel, securely welded to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch diameter countersunk, pre-drilled holes, spaced about 120 degrees apart. These holes are designed for No. 10 self-tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (not included). Once installed, the mounting hardware is fully visible. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements.

Using the ASI 3401-24P grab bar is easy. First, gather the necessary mounting screws (not included). Place the grab bar where you want it and use the pre-drilled holes in the flanges to mark the spots on the wall. Drill holes at these marks and insert the screws to secure the grab bar. When using it, hold onto the non - slip surface firmly for support. As for maintenance, simply wipe it down with a soft cloth and mild cleaner regularly to keep the satin finish looking great and to prevent fingerprints. Avoid using abrasive materials as they can scratch the surface. Make sure to check the screws periodically to ensure they are tight and the grab bar is secure.
