36-Inch Grab Bars

The ASI 3401-36P is a straight grab bar that offers excellent support. With a 1-1/4-inch diameter and a length of 36 inches, it's a practical choice. The bar features a peened, non-slip surface, ensuring a firm grip. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, it has an appealing satin finish that reduces fingerprints while still giving it an attractive shine. At both ends of the grab bar, there are 3-inch diameter flanges made of type-304 stainless steel, securely welded to the tubing. Each flange has three countersunk, predrilled 7/32-inch diameter holes, designed to accept No. 10 self-tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (not included). The holes are positioned about every 120 degrees for a secure installation. Once mounted, the hardware is fully exposed. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements, providing a reliable and compliant solution for safety.

Using the ASI 3401-36P grab bar is easy. First, gather the necessary mounting screws (not included). Position the grab bar where you want it and align the holes on the flanges with the mounting surface. Insert the screws through the holes and tighten them to secure the bar. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly for support. It's important to note that the mounting hardware is exposed, so be careful not to snag clothing on it. To maintain the grab bar, simply wipe it down with a soft cloth and mild cleaner regularly. This will keep the satin finish looking great and reduce fingerprints. If you notice any loose screws over time, tighten them to ensure the bar remains securely in place.
