Product Description

This 42-inch grab bar, the ASI 3401-42P, is a must - have for any commercial or home setting. It has a 1 - 1/4 - inch diameter and a peened, non - slip surface for a secure grip. Crafted from 18 - gauge stainless steel tubing, it sports an appealing satin finish that resists fingerprints while still having a lovely shine. At each end, there's a 3 - inch diameter flange made of type - 304 stainless steel, herliarc welded to the tube. Inside each flange, there are three 7/32 - inch diameter countersunk, pre - drilled holes. These holes, spaced about 120 degrees apart, are designed for No. 10 self - tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included). Once installed, the mounting hardware is fully visible. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements, ensuring safety and reliability.

Using this grab bar is easy. Just find a suitable location on the wall where you need support, like in the bathroom. Line up the pre - drilled holes in the flanges with the wall and use No. 10 self - tapping or oval head mounting screws (you'll need to buy these separately) to secure it. Make sure to tighten the screws well so the bar is firmly attached. When it comes to maintenance, simply wipe it down with a mild soap and water solution regularly. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the satin finish. If you notice any loose parts or damage, check the screws and make sure they're tight. If the damage is more serious, it's best to replace the grab bar for your safety.
