Product Description

The ASI 3502-48 is a sleek, straight grab bar. It has a 1-1/4-inch diameter and is 48 inches long. Strengthened by an intermediate support, it offers great stability. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with an eye - catching satin finish, it reduces fingerprints while maintaining an appealing shine. At both ends and the center, there are 3 - inch diameter flanges made of type - 304 stainless steel, herliarc welded securely to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32 - inch diameter countersunk, predrilled holes. These holes, spaced about every 120 degrees, are designed to accept No. 10 self - tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (not included). Once installed, the mounting hardware stays fully exposed. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements for grab bars, ensuring safety and reliability.

Using this grab bar is easy. First, choose a suitable location on the wall where you need support. Take the grab bar and align the predrilled holes in the flanges with the spots on the wall. Insert the appropriate screws (you'll need to buy them separately) into the holes and tighten them well. Make sure the bar is firmly attached. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly with your hand for support while standing up, sitting down, or moving around. As for maintenance, just wipe it with a soft, damp cloth regularly to keep it clean and free from fingerprints. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can damage the satin finish. If you notice any loose screws, tighten them right away to ensure the grab bar remains safe to use.
