The ASI 3801-36 is a sleek and practical straight grab bar. It has a 1.5-inch diameter and is 36 inches long, boasting a smooth and attractive satin finish. Made from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, it not only resists fingerprints but also shines beautifully. At both ends, there are 3.125-inch diameter flanges, crafted from 1/8-inch thick type-304 stainless steel and securely welded to the tubing. The grab bar comes with a pair of 3.1875-inch diameter snap-on flange covers made of type-304, 22-gauge stainless steel. Once installed, these covers slide down and snap over the flanges, hiding the mounting hardware, protecting the bar from tampering and vandalism.
Using your ASI 3801-36 grab bar is easy. First, make sure you have the right tools for surface mounting it. Find a suitable wall location and use the provided hardware to attach the grab bar firmly. Once it's installed, slide the snap - on flange covers over the flanges to conceal the screws. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly for support, especially when getting in or out of the bathtub or shower. As for maintenance, simply wipe it with a soft cloth and mild cleaner regularly to keep its satin finish looking great. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the surface. If you notice any loose parts or damage, check the mounting and contact the manufacturer if needed.
