The ASI 3802-48 is a high - quality straight commercial grab bar. With a diameter of 1.5 inches and a length of 48 inches, it's made stronger by an intermediate support. Crafted from 18 - gauge stainless steel tubing, it has a beautiful satin finish that not only looks great with an attractive gleam but also reduces fingerprints. At both ends and the center of the bar, there are 3 - 1/8 - inch diameter flanges made of 1/8 - inch thick type - 304 stainless steel, herliarc welded securely to the tubing. It comes with three snap - on flange covers made of 22 - gauge type - 304 stainless steel. Measuring 3 - 3/16 inches in diameter, these covers easily slide down and snap over the flanges after installation. They provide a secure fit, hiding the mounting hardware, protecting the grab bar from tampering and vandalism.
