The ASI 3801-48 is a 48-inch straight grab bar with a 1-1/2-inch diameter and a smooth finish. It's made from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with an appealing satin finish that reduces fingerprints while adding a nice shine. At each end, there's a 3-1/8-inch diameter flange, made of 1/8-inch thick type-304 stainless steel and welded securely to the tubing. The grab bar comes with snap-on flange covers made of 22-gauge type-304 stainless steel, 3-3/16 inches in diameter. Once installed, these covers slide down and snap over the flange, hiding the mounting hardware, protecting against tampering and vandalism.

Using this grab bar is simple. Just find a suitable wall surface and mount it using the provided hardware. Make sure the surface is clean and sturdy before installation. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly for support. As for maintenance, wipe it regularly with a soft cloth to keep the satin finish looking good. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may damage the surface. Also, check the flange covers from time to time to ensure they're still securely in place.
