A 36-inch (914mm) horizontal grab bar should be installed on the back wall, and a 42-inch (1067mm) horizontal grab bar on the side wall or partition stall. Screws are not included. These grab bars are designed and tested to withstand a downward pull that exceeds HUD, HEW, FHA, VA, and other Federal, State, and local codes, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Dimensions are measured from the center-line to the center-line of the tubing, unless noted otherwise on the grab bar application.
