MATERIALS:
Tubing - Made of type 304 stainless steel and powder-coated matte black on exposed surfaces.
Concealed Flange - 0.5-inch (13mm) deep, type 304 stainless steel, 3 inches (76mm) in diameter, comes with 3 stainless steel set screws and one back plate. Flanges and center posts are welded to tubing.
MOUNTING:
The clearance is the distance between the finished wall and the inner edge of the tubing. The standard clearance is 1.5 inches (38mm). The required mounting height is 33 to 36 inches (838 to 914mm) from the top of the grab bar's gripping surface to the floor. A 36-inch (914mm) horizontal grab bar should be installed on the back wall, and a 42-inch (1067mm) one on the side wall or partition stall. Screws are not included.
SPECIFICATIONS:
These grab bars are designed and tested to handle a downward pull when installed correctly, meeting HUD, HEW, FHA, VA, and other Federal, State, and local codes, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Dimensions are measured from the center-line to the center-line of the tubing, unless noted otherwise on the grab bar application.

Using this grab bar is easy. Just hold onto it firmly when you need support, like getting in and out of the bathtub or using the toilet. When it comes to mounting, make sure to follow the recommended height and clearance measurements. You'll need to supply your own screws for installation. Remember, the grab bar is made to withstand a good amount of pulling, but don't use it for any rough or excessive tugging. For maintenance, simply wipe it down with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth to keep the matte black finish looking great. If you notice any loose parts or damage, check the mounting and contact a professional if needed.
