The Bobrick B - 824 is an automatic, touch - free liquid soap dispenser that significantly reduces cross - contamination. It uses universal bulk liquid soaps, helping you save a lot on usage costs. This top - fill dispenser comes with a unique portion control feature, balancing patron satisfaction and your operating budget. It has a sleek chrome finish for a consistent design look. With a 34 - oz capacity, it stands at 19.56" in full height and has a 6.75" spout. It can be easily mounted on the lavatory. For new installations, make sure the mounting hole is 1 - 3/8" (35mm) in diameter. If it's an existing or retrofit installation, you may need to enlarge the opening if necessary. The spout and stem assembly are made of chrome - plated ABS plastic above the counter, with a rotatable lid for top filling. The soap bottle is made of shatter - resistant polyethylene. The pump and delivery system use a plastic gear pump. The bottom housing is water - resistant ABS plastic. The electronic activation system uses fiber optic cables. The battery pack holds 4 alkaline “D” cell batteries (not included). To fill, use the provided BobKey. To activate, place your hand under the spout for about 1/2 second. It dispenses an adjustable amount of liquid hand soap (0.4 to 3 ml). This dispenser is designed for commercially marketed all - purpose hand soaps with a viscosity range of 1cP to 19,000cP. It can be installed in counters up to 2" (50mm) thick, with specific mounting location recommendations. It's not compatible with certain sink rims, and you should refer to Form No. 824 - 391 for more details. It can dispense adjustable amounts of various viscosities of non - iodine based soaps, and an optional A/C adapter is available (Part No. 3974 - 57).














Using the Bobrick B - 824 soap dispenser is easy. To fill it, just insert the tip of the standard BobKey into the opening of the concealed locking mechanism in the spout assembly. The lid will rotate open, and you can pour in bulk liquid hand soap. Then, rotate the door counter - clockwise to close and lock it. When you want to get some soap, place your hand under the spout near the sensor for about half a second. The dispenser will give you an adjustable amount of soap, between 0.4 and 3 ml. When installing, make sure the counter is no more than 2 inches thick and the mounting hole is 1 - 3/8 inches in diameter. Mount the battery pack on the back or side wall near the dispenser for easy battery replacement. Remember to use 4 high - quality “D” cell batteries. The dispenser is not compatible with some types of sink rims, so check the rim dimensions and refer to Form No. 824 - 391. For maintenance, use the Automatic System Flush Button to clean the system. If the red LED blinks, it means the battery is low, so replace the batteries promptly.
