The shelf part is made of 18-gauge stainless steel, and the mounting brackets are 16-gauge for extra strength. The brackets are welded firmly to the shelf for a solid unit. There's a 1/2-inch lip on all four sides. The front lip is hemmed to prevent cuts and keep your facilities safe.
