Product Description

The ASI 0692 - 648 Surface Mounted Shelf is an appealing storage solution for commercial restrooms, workrooms, custodial closets, and other areas in your facilities that need sturdy open storage. It's made from tough type - 304, 18 - 8 alloy stainless steel. The shelf is 6 inches deep and 48 inches long. The shelf part is crafted from 18 - gauge stainless steel, and the mounting brackets are made of 16 - gauge stainless steel for added strength. The brackets are firmly welded to the shelf, creating a solid unit. It has a 1/2 - inch lip on all four sides. The front lip is hemmed to remove sharp edges and keep your facilities safe. The shelf has an attractive satin finish that looks great and is less likely to show fingerprints than polished surfaces. Note that the mounting hardware is not included with the unit.

Using this shelf is easy. First, find a suitable location on the wall where you need storage. Since the mounting hardware is not included, you'll need to get the right screws and anchors for your wall type. Once you have the hardware, mark the spots on the wall where the brackets will go. Attach the brackets firmly to the wall. Then, simply place the shelf onto the brackets. As for maintenance, you can clean it with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the satin finish. When handling the shelf, be careful around the edges, even though the front lip is hemmed. Also, make sure the mounting is secure over time, and check the brackets and screws periodically to ensure they haven't loosened.
