36-Inch Grab Bars

ASI Grab Bars are crafted to not only meet but surpass the ADAAG standards set in ICC/ANSI A117.1 - 2003 and CFR 28 Part 36, Federal Register Vol. 56 No 144, July 26, 1991. This means they're strong enough to support a 250 - pound (113.4 kg) load. Proper wall mounting is key to achieving this strength. The fastener system is carefully sized to handle shear, tension, pull - out, and torsion loads from the maximum load. When installed correctly, this product can hold over 1350 lbs (612.4 kg).

The tubing is 18 - gauge, and the flanges are made of 1/8 - inch (3 mm) thick stainless steel type 304 with a satin finish. The closure plate is also 1/8 - inch (3 mm) thick. It's all - welded for durability. Each flange has three holes for rear mounting.
