ASI 3401-24 (24 x 1.25) Commercial Grab Bar, 1-1/4 Diameter x 24 Length, Stainless Steel

The ASI 3401-24 is a 24-inch long straight grab bar with a 1-1/4-inch outside diameter. It's made from 18-gauge type 304 stainless steel tubing with a beautiful satin finish. This finish not only reduces fingerprints but also gives the bar an appealing shine. At each end, there's a 3-inch diameter flange, also made of type 304 stainless steel and herliarc welded to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch diameter countersunk, predrilled holes, spaced about 120 degrees apart. These holes are designed for No. 10 self-tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (not included). Once installed, the mounting hardware will be fully visible. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements for grab bars. It has an exposed flange that's 1/8-inch thick and is surface-mounted for easy installation.

Using the ASI 3401 - 24 grab bar is simple. Just find a suitable spot on the wall where you need support. You'll need to use No. 10 self - tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (not included) to attach the grab bar through the predrilled holes in the flanges. Make sure to place the screws evenly as the holes are spaced about 120 degrees apart for a secure fit. When installing, keep in mind that the mounting hardware will be exposed. For safety, always ensure the wall you're mounting on can support the weight. When it comes to maintenance, use a mild soap and water solution to clean the bar. Wipe it dry with a soft cloth to keep its satin finish looking great. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the surface and damage the anti - fingerprint feature. Also, check the screws periodically to make sure they're tight and the grab bar remains secure.
