The ASI 3704-L is a 90-degree left-hand grab bar. It has a 1-1/4-inch diameter and a smooth finish. Measuring 16 inches by 32 inches, this grab bar is made from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with a nice satin finish that reduces fingerprints while still looking shiny. At both ends and the angle, there are 3-1/8-inch diameter flanges. These flanges are made of 1/8-inch thick type-304 stainless steel and are securely welded to the tubing. The grab bar comes with three snap-on flange covers made of 22-gauge type-304 stainless steel. With a 3-3/16-inch diameter, these covers slide down and snap over the flanges after installation, hiding the mounting hardware and protecting the bar from tampering and vandalism.
Using this grab bar is easy. Just hold onto it firmly when you need support, like getting in or out of the bathtub or shower. When installing, make sure the flange covers are snapped on properly to conceal the mounting hardware. As for maintenance, use a mild soap and a soft cloth to clean the grab bar regularly. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the satin finish. Also, check the mounting periodically to ensure it remains secure. If you notice any signs of damage or looseness, it's best to have it inspected or repaired right away.
