Product Description

The Bobrick B - 50516 Heavy Duty Recessed Specimen Pass - Through Cabinet offers a convenient way to transfer specimens from the patient area to the laboratory. It can be mounted on walls that are 3 - 6 inches thick with an adjustable flange. Crafted from Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, this cabinet is not only durable but also looks great. Its ADA - compliant interlocking mechanism stops both doors from opening simultaneously, providing a visual barrier. There's also a removable stainless steel spillage tray for easy cleaning. The rough wall opening measures 12 - 3/8 inches wide by 12 - 3/8 inches high (314 x 314mm).

To use this specimen pass - through cabinet, simply place the specimen on the removable spillage tray inside. Open the door from the patient area side, put the specimen in, and then close the door. The interlocking mechanism ensures that only one door can be open at a time, so you can safely transfer the specimen to the laboratory side. When it comes to maintenance, regularly clean the stainless steel surface with a mild cleaner to keep it looking good. You can also remove the spillage tray for a thorough clean. Remember, the cabinet is designed to fit walls 3 - 6 inches thick, so make sure the wall you're mounting it on meets this requirement. Also, avoid using harsh chemicals on the cabinet as they may damage the satin finish.
