36-Inch Grab Bar

The ASI 3501-36P is a straight grab bar with a 1-1/2-inch diameter and a 36-inch length. It features a peened, non-slip surface for a secure grip. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, it has an appealing satin finish that reduces fingerprints while maintaining an attractive shine. At both ends, there are 3-inch diameter flanges made of type-304 stainless steel, securely welded to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch diameter countersunk, predrilled holes, spaced about 120 degrees apart, designed to accept No. 10 self-tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included). Once installed, the mounting hardware is fully visible. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements.

To use this grab bar, simply hold onto it for support while getting in and out of the bathtub or using the toilet. When installing, make sure to use the appropriate No. 10 self - tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included) in the predrilled holes on the flanges. Ensure the screws are tightened properly for a secure fit. As for maintenance, clean the grab bar regularly with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the satin finish. Check the mounting hardware periodically to make sure it remains tight and secure. If you notice any signs of damage or loosening, replace the relevant parts immediately.
